Itinerary Required For Honeymoon Holiday in France Best answer on the web
    Filed under: tarareidtopless.com
  • I am planning a honeymoon in France in mid August. I have never been. I will be there for 14 days. I am planning to land in Paris, spend a few days there and then head to the South of France. I originally was going to go on a tour, but I do not want to be rushed and be on a schedule. I want it to be romantic and do not want to take buses. I want to see popular tourist destinations. I want to know what hotels to stay at. I want reasonable prices and good quality. I want 14 days planned out from start to finish based on the above.

  • Thank you very much for the comment myoarin-ga. You make some interesting points.

  • Dear Mike,

I wasn't sure whether to write it or not, but given that your question is about to expire, I decided to post this comment anyway.
I think that your question is answerable. However, you are asking for "14 days
planned out from start to finish". You are paying $20 for it ($15 of which reach the Researcher). That's $2 a day of planning. I once planned only four days in Paris here on Google Answers (you can find it and use it here: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=611038) and despite not having to include hotels and routes (which of course complicates things), it took lots of time and effort.

  • My budget is $5000 for both of us not including flight.
I am not sure how I define romantic. It is my honeymoon. Dinner at the Effiel Tower sounds romantic. Interests are nature, wine, science, culture for both

  • OH, August is when all of France goes on vacation, so book hotels early, especially if you prefer to move around more than I suggested.

  • Since I expect that your are flying from the States, maybe immediately after the excitement and tension of your wedding, I would spend a few days in Paris, taking it pretty easy (jet lag, unwinding), go to a single place in Southern France and do whatever that place has to offer, and then return to Paris for a few more days.
This may seem like a waste of the possible sightseeing available in two weeks, but having a full itinerary planned - that has to be followed - is stress: transportation, checking in and out of hotels, packing and unpacking, maybe also testing too much how you and your wife handle this in a foreign country. By returning to Paris for a few days, you will feel more familiar with the town and have time to really see more highlights or feel that you can take the time just to mosey around. Also, your trip home won't be as long (assuming you are planning a roundtrip flight to Paris). If you only stay in one hotel in the south, you can pick it more carefully, maybe find a better deal. OH, and have a couple of credit cards. Hotels often block an amount to cover more than the room, and sometimes the card reader in places doesn't want to recognize a card.
Now someone can find the ideal place in the South of France. :-)

  • we are 30 and 32 by the way

  • hello

it all depends on what you call romantic and what is your budget...Paris is must be seen, there are some really romantic places, like the restaurant on the eiffel tower, montmartre etc...you could go to brittany. You can drop by cote d azur...I would avoid too crowded places. you could also do the wine road in bordeaux
What are you interests in life?(for both) Cars?painting?culture?nature?wine?

    o
