Honeymoon on the southern Italian coast Best answer on the web
    Filed under: tarareidtopless.com
  • I am interested in a honeymoon trip to the Amalfi Coast of Italy
sometime in August 2005 (or surrounding area). I've found several
hotels and villas through my own research - to be honest, a lot of the
decor looked cheap and mismatched (think silky bright blue pillows).
Price can up to $700/night, but less expensive would be ideal (as I am
    still in college!)

    If possible, I'd like:
    1) To stay near the coast
    2) have an ocean view
    3) enjoy luxurious and relaxing surroundings (million count sheets etc)
    4) have access to both the nice (candle-lit dinners etc) and the rustic
(small local coffee shops or cafes)

In short, I've seen everything found in the first few pages of Google. Is there another place I'm missing that a young couple will remember forever?
    Thanks for any help!

  • You knew exactly what I was looking for! I especially liked the clean white rooms and elegant fixtures of Le Sirenuse. I'm very happy with your answer - thank you!

  • Hello mrhellweg-ga:

It was such a pleasure to answer your question. I am answering this question because I have worked in the travel industry and great hotels have been my fascination. Actually, I am addicted to great hotels.
What I have compiled here is the list of five hotels that are located on the Amalfi coast and are rated among the best hotels in the world. A couple of them have been rated among the top hotels in the world by Travel & Leisure Annual Survey. A couple are rated the most prestigious hotels by the Conde Nast Traveler. While, the remaining one have simply been awarded too many awards to list.
Since, it will be your honey moon, I have only selected those hotels that are not only known to be prestigious but also are world renown for their ultimate service and quality of experience.
Be assured that you will get not only a tastefully decorated room with a fabulous sea view in these hotels but most of them can be booked under $500 and a few under $400. They are located in the surrounding that is Italy of the Renaissance era with a laid back atmosphere. A candle lit dinner in these hotels is always available and is simply mind boggling.
I have also listed five others hotels that I think are worth a look. They are also among the best hotels in the world. Two of them are located directly near the ocean and all of them are romantic to the extreme. ____________________________________________________________________
